If we sell it or rent it, we support it! At Better Bolting, we feel an obligation to our customers to offer more than a product in a box … we have a staff of 10 in Michigan to help check your applications and recommend solutions, prepare, test, calibrate and deliver equipment on time, and support a rental fleet in excess of $3,000,000.00 ready to work when emergencies or unexpected needs occur. We have continued to add related products and services through the years, but always with the idea that we’ll be there to help you make the most of your investment.

RENTALS (WEEK, MONTH, OR PROJECT)

Most of the equipment we offer for sale is also available for rental. Rental packages can be structured in a number of ways to best suit the requirements of your job. We can deliver via our trucks, ship or expedite to be sure equipment is delivered where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. With a rental fleet in excess of $3,000,000.00, in most cases we are able to deliver from stock, eliminating the delay and uncertainty of shipping by parcel services and being at the mercy of shipping deadlines in emergency situations. Every need is potentially different, so please contact us…we would welcome the opportunity to structure a package best suited to your needs.

REPAIR SERVICES

We stock common repair and service parts for most of the equipment we sell, as well as customer equipment commonly in service with customers in our market, and have manufacturer trained service technicians to maintain and reliably service a wide range of torque, lifting, and related products. This insures prompt service and fast turn-around times in most cases without long delays waiting for parts. Since we also calibrate and test in house, we can insure the equipment we service is safe and reliable when it is returned to you. If necessary, we can also provide temporary equipment during repairs to avoid job downtime.

HYDRAULIC CYLINDER LOAD TESTING

As hydraulic cylinders are often used in challenging situations, exposed to the environment for extended periods of time without protection, or stored for long periods between use, it is important to insure they are ready for operation when work is critical. Typical “testing” involves simply pressurizing a cylinder which doesn’t replicate actual use. Load testing applies an actual live, moving load to a cylinder at multiple positions along its stroke, best replicating field conditions. This is the best way to insure a cylinder is safe and ready for reliable use. We load test all of our rental equipment after every job, as well as cylinders we repair to capacity, or up to 200 Tons.

OUTAGE PACKAGES

For larger projects, outages or turn-arounds, we offer comprehensive tool packages, in many cases delivered in a trailer with a representative on site to offer time of use training and support for your crews or contractors on site. These packages are available with general ranges of equipment to act as a “safety net” for unexpected needs, or job specific, offering a greater depth designed to allow more crew to be equipped for a large scale work.
